Ha! So, parental visit day 4. Redneck training complete for the boys, they wore NASCAR t-shirts out with their Grandfather today, and have been trained in firearm safety, and even hit the target more than half the time!
"Out" was the Farmers Market here. It's a must see in a town full of, well, let's just say a people watchers dream! Honestly, you need to go just for the people watching even if you have no interest whatsoever in the products being sold! Nothing like watching a couple swing dance to a bluegrass band playing "Chattanooga Choo Choo"! Or the pre-teen girl with a banjo, just strumming, and then, in the most squeaky voice, start singing something she must have made up because no one had any idea what she was singing...
I really love this town!
Thanks for noticing me!
Just stuff about me, and the people I come into contact with, no matter how distantly.

Silly Wildlife!
So I live in the middle of nowhere, and the silliest wildlife graces us with its presence!
This little bugger, has been trying to peck his way through our electric meter box for just months! We have several types of woodpeckers living in our "swamp". We also have muskrats, a fox, woodchucks, mice, moles, a skunk, chipmunks, an otter or two, deer, red squirrels, gray squirrels, rabbits, and then fish, frogs, a rat snake, and crayfish, in the creek. (the picture on the top)
Anyone that doesn't have animals living near them, can't _really_ appreciate the amount of amusement they provide! We swear come hunting season, that the deer are just making fun of the hunters! There's no hunting on our property, but our neighbors have no such issue. In the fall, the deer practically mob our property. In the early day and late evening, you can see about 40 of them, all facing the neighbors property, while the hunters there, stare back. Makes us break down in fits of giggles every time!
Well, TTFN! and as usual, Thanks for noticing me!

Things I've done part 1
This is one of the sweaters I crocheted as a Christmas present this past year, the year before this everyone got hats and scarves made from the _yummiest_ chenille yarn! It was the first thing I learned to knit.
And this is my first knitted sweater! I was _so_ proud of myself. I've been crocheting for years, but never really learned how to follow a pattern, until I decided to teach myself to knit.
Not bad, it only took me to the second entry to do this!
And now I have music... only took 2 hours to figure it out!
So for any other "grown ups" who have ever had parental units visit... How long can you deal??? I think I have about 15 minutes before I'm just _done_! I only bring it up because this is what I'll have to endure for FIVE WHOLE DAYS! Thank all the little gods and goddesses for hotels!
TTFN! And Thanks for noticing me...

All Greek to me!
Someone told me I should start a blog, so here I am. I never really thought what I had to say was particularly interesting or amusing, but apparently, I'm one of the few people that think that way.
Since I have no idea what I'm doing, if anyone is actually reading this, please bear with me!
In case you hadn't noticed from the name of this Blog, I love Eeyore! I have him everywhere!
Myself, I am a bit of a procrastinator, I know I _should_ be doing something else, but I'm not. Eventually everything gets done... eventually.
I love to knit and crochet, and (eventually) hope to post pics of my finished projects. I have no talent whatsoever for needlework, or painting which is what most of my crafty friends do. My main hobby nowadays is facebook. "If it weren't for facebook, I could get a lot accomplished!" That is my motto! I'm also an avid reader, or as some put it, a "rabid reader". It didn't occur to me that there were people in this world that _didn't_ read 3 or 4 books at once until I was in my mid 20's.
So that's a smidge about me. I think I might be able to keep this up!
Thanks for noticing me!
